In my exploration of desert ecosystems, I've discovered that the biotic factors - or living organisms - play a pivotal role in this harsh environment. These include a variety of plants like cacti and shrubs, which have adapted to survive the extreme conditions. Additionally, a fascinating range of animals, including reptiles, mammals, and insects, call the desert their home. There are also microorganisms that are essential to the desert ecosystem. These diverse life forms all interact, survive and thrive together in the challenging desert landscape.
